LOGS Release 2.7

In LOGS release 2.7 look for usability and UI improvements, new sample types and a supported data formats table.

New UI & functionality

LOGS content tables have gained in functionality and configurability. Similar to the new dataset table in release 2.6, we have updated further pages, e.g. projects, samples and admin pages in the “More” menu. The UI & functionalities allow more customization of your data views.

  • Custom views: define and name tabs with filter presets
  • Order columns: sort column order via drag & drop
  • Column on/off: checkbox columns accordingly

  • We have given the LOGS announcements a new look, allowing the user a much simpler and streamlined view.

  • Due to manifold demand, we now give you an overview of all the dataformat that LOGS supports. If you need more dataformats implemented, we have also linked our data upload pipeline in the page.

Further Additions and Fixes

  • In preparation for future functionality, the persons email field is now mandatory.
  • The “More” menu has been reordered for easier and more intuitive workflows.
    • “Facilities” is now split into separate pages
    • “IT Hardware” can be found under More:Data import:IT Hardware
  • We discontinue supporting the domains and If you’re still using bookmarks pointing to the old domain, please replace them with the corresponding subdomain of
